SEBASTIEN RAINERI
Born in 1995 when the Super Nintendo was in full swing and Toy Story was in theaters, I spent my childhood under the sun of Marseille in the South of France. In 2022, when the world was locked down and the borders closed, I arrived in Japan to live and work, even though I had never set foot in this country before.
Currently, I am a video editor in a Japanese company specializing in VR and AI. I am also a writer in media specialized in Japanese culture such as Pen [ペン] Magazine, Time Out Tokyo, Deeper Japan or Journal du Japon.
I am passionate about cinema and its history, audiovisual and new media, music, video games, literature, sports, Internet culture, and Japan of course! All these areas influence me enormously and are an integral part of my life. They have built my vision of the world, my way of being. They have built who I am.
